WKD Attorneys Trevor Davies and Shannon Harrison Obtain Defense Verdict

Trevor Davies and Shannon Harrison recently obtained a defense verdict following a three-day jury trial in Lake Charles. The plaintiff sued DG Louisiana, LLC, as a result of an incident in 2021. The plaintiff alleged injuries to her low back and hip and received multiple lumbar radiofrequency ablations, SI Joint Injections, and other injections.

The plaintiff presented evidence of $75,000 in past medical expenses and a Life Care Plan in excess of $1 million, and asked the jury to award $2.1 million. However, after only one hour of deliberation, the jury returned a complete defense verdict. See link to the defense verdict.
