WKD Team Making a Difference for The Blood Center

WKD took part in The Blood Center’s blood drive in Orleans Tower — and the WKD team donated the most blood in their building! We thank all the participants for making a difference.

Founded in 1960, The Blood Center, a non-profit community service organization, is the primary supplier of blood, blood components, and plasma derivatives to local hospitals throughout South Louisiana and parts of the Mississippi Gulf Coast. WKD Managing Partner Peter Wanek is the immediate past chairman of the board of directors for the organization.

Every day, people entering a hospital will use blood, and we’re thrilled to support this worthy cause.
