Robert Gordon v. Cajun Operating Company (of Delaware) d/b/a Church's Fried Chicken and Liberty Mutual

In the 24th Judicial District Court for the Parish of Jefferson, Peter Wanek and Seth Pohlmann secured a Motion for Summary Judgment (MSJ). The plaintiff alleged that he bit into a fried pie and the filling spilled onto his chin, causing him burns. The WKD team argued that, under the Louisiana Products Liability Act, the pie was not unreasonably dangerous and that the defendant had no duty to warn the plaintiff that the fried pie was hot.
