Carolyn Kor v. Hobby Lobby Stores, Inc.
Peter Wanek secured partial summary judgment in favor of a retail client in a case pending in the 24th Judicial District Court for the Parish of Jefferson. In that case, the plaintiff claimed that she was injured in the parking lot when she was impacted by a vehicle driven by the defendant merchant’s employee. The Court granted partial summary judgment in favor of the defendant merchant, finding that the merchant was not vicariously liable for the actions of its employee. (See link to Judgment)
