Renetta Glover v. DG Louisiana, LLC

Peter Wanek secured a defense judgment in favor a retail client following a bench trial before the Honorable Wilson Fields in the 19th Judicial District Court for the Parish of East Baton Rouge. In that case, the plaintiff tripped and fell at a retail establishment. The plaintiff claimed that the accident caused injuries requiring her to undergo two surgeries and multiple injections. Judge Fields found that based on the testimony of the plaintiff’s treating physician and the surveillance video of the incident, the plaintiff could not have been injured in the incident.
