WKD Attorneys Obtain Summary Judgment in Haza Foods of Louisiana, LLC, Case

Congratulations to WKD Attorneys Kathryn Trew and Lindsay Faulkner for securing a summary judgment in favor of a retail client in a case pending before the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Louisiana on June 10, 2021. In the case, the plaintiff claimed that he was injured when he tripped and fell on an alleged defect in the parking lot. The Court granted summary judgment in favor of the defendant merchant, reasoning that there was no evidence that the defendant created the condition or had notice of its presence before the incident.
