Samantha Schott Boudreaux, Associate

Samantha focuses on motion and appellate work for cases involving premises liability, automobile liability, insurance coverage, and construction law. She draws on her experience both in private practice and in the courts to inform her strategic defense efforts on behalf of clients.

Before joining WKD, Samantha worked as an MDL (multidistrict litigation) law clerk for the Honorable Jane Triche Milazzo in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Louisiana. Prior to that, she worked in private practice in New Orleans. Her experience also includes earlier roles as a law clerk for the Honorable Jay Zainey in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Louisiana, an intern for the Honorable Madeleine Landrieu in the Louisiana 4th Circuit Court of Appeal, a press assistant for former U.S. Senator Mary Landrieu, and an intern for U.S. Congressman Steven Palazzo. During law school, Samantha served as the editor-in-chief of the 2014-2015 Alabama Law Review.

From 2017 to 2018, Samantha served as president of the New Orleans chapter of the Young Catholic Professionals. In her spare time, Samantha enjoys running and helping her mom promote her invention, the Better Bedder, which was featured on the TV show Shark Tank.
