Michael L. Ballero, Partner

Michael’s practice focuses on general civil litigation, including representing retailers, restaurants, and other businesses in premises liability and automobile cases, insurance coverage and defense, construction law, and commercial litigation. Drawing on his experience in the district attorney’s office, he provides aggressive and strategic defense of his clients’ interests.

Prior to joining the firm, Michael served as an Assistant District Attorney at the Jefferson Parish District Attorney’s office as a felony trials prosecutor. He managed a caseload of 300 criminal cases and handled all aspects of trials and litigation. Michael served in the Juvenile Division where he prosecuted all delinquency and child neglect cases. 

During law school, Michael served as a judicial intern for the Honorable Jay C. Zainey at the United States District Court, Eastern District of Louisiana. He graduated from Loyola University New Orleans College of Law.
