Almeda S. Thomas v. Dolgencorp, LLC

Docket No. 659347, Trevor Davies secured summary judgment in favor of a retail client in a case pending in the 19th Judicial District Court for the Parish of East Baton Rouge. In that case, the plaintiff claimed that she was injured when she slipped and fell on a liquid substance on the defendant merchant’s premises. The court granted summary judgment in favor of the defendant merchant, reasoning that there was no evidence that the defendant created the condition or had notice of its presence before the incident.
