Richard v. DG Louisiana, LLC

Trevor Davies and Shannon Harrison recently obtained a defense verdict following a three-day jury trial in Lake Charles. Plaintiff sued DG Louisiana, LLC, as a result of an incident in 2021. Plaintiff alleged injuries to her low back and hip and received multiple lumbar radiofrequency ablations, SI Joint Injections, and other injections. Plaintiff presented evidence of $75,000 in past medical expenses and a Life Care Plan in excess of $1 million. Plaintiff asked the jury to award $2.1 million.
